In order to make sense of Charles Taylor’s masterful A Secular Age, I had to (1) title each section number, (2) copy the key quotes that present the essence of Taylor’s argument, (3) integrate the sections or discussions that connect but over long distances in the book, and (4) make a few comments for myself. The result is the seventy-five-page document available here. Hey, seventy-five pages for a 775-page book ain’t bad!
